The passing of Uncle John Dobbie, and his commemorative service.

Dear Family,

It is with sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved elder statesman, Uncle John Dobbie, who passed away peacefully in his sleep early on Tuesday morning 29th May. Our condolences and feelings of deep respect go to his loving wife Aunty Judy and his beloved children, Chris and Elizabeth and their families.

Sahaja Yogis are invited to attend a Commemorative Service on Monday 4th June at 12.30pm at the Magnolia Chapel, Macquarie Park Crematorium, Cnr. Delhi & Plassey Roads, Macquarie Park 2113.  Please arrive from 12.00pm for a 12.30pm start. The family has asked everyone not to bring flowers.

Afterwards, all are invited for afternoon tea at 15A Crana Ave, East Lindfield (Aunty Judy’s sister Robyn’s house).

Uncle John has been an inspiration to us all as he worked to help establish Sahaja Yoga in the world, over the last thirty-odd years. His love and dedication to Shri Mataji and to Sahaja Yoga was always evident in the way he voluntarily gave of his time and energy throughout his Sahaj life.  His kind, balanced and generous qualities combined with his expert knowledge, complete supportiveness and love, will be gratefully remembered by all who knew him.

Now he has gone for a well-earned rest in the care of Shri Mataji. We will miss him, but we find consolation in knowing he is continuing on his journey and ascent surrounded by our Divine Mother’s love.

Jai Shri Mataji

Love,
NSW Council
