We would like to invite all our brothers and sisters of our Sahaj family to join us online for our national puja in New Zealand.
This year, we will be offering Puja to our Holy Mother in Her Holy form as Shri Kartikeya. The timing is to coincide with a national celebration of Matariki (translated as ‘the eyes of God’), a time when a cluster of seven stars appear in the sky over New Zealand. This is a reference to Pleiades, the story maids, a name of Shri Kartikeya, Shri Krittikasunave.
The Māori (indigenous New Zealanders) celebrate the coming of the new year at this time. Much can be read online about this.
