With our open hearts, we would like to extend an invitation to our dear Sahaj family to join us for our national Shri Kartikeya Puja in New Zealand.
This year, we are offering Puja to our Holy Mother in the form of Shri Kartikeya earlier, this Friday 24th June. For the first time, New Zealand’s government has granted a public holiday to commemorate Matariki (translated as ‘the eyes of God’), or a time when a cluster of seven stars appear over New Zealand. This is a reference to Pleiades, the stary maids, a name of Shri Kartikeya, Shri Krittikasunave.
The Māori (indigenous New Zealanders) celebrate the coming of the new year at this time. More details on the website below.
