The small Adelaide Collective is able to raise a loan of about $530,000 and the property is advertised at $795,000. The final price at auction may well be above this. This unique opportunity is only possible with the help and generosity of Yogis from the National collective.

Background
The Yogis of Adelaide have been continuously searching for a property to purchase as a permanent home for our collective. We are the remaining State in Australia yet to establish their own permanent collective centre. Our desire has not diminished. Our Intent remains fixed and firm and committed in securing a permanent home for Shri Mataji in Adelaide. Our resolve is strong and undiminished and with all your support and attention and by the grace of Shri Mataji we will achieve this long held dream!
Proposed property
We have what we feel is the ideal property, being an ex-small church in Adelaide which has presented itself as a unique collective centre for Sahaja Yoga.
The property has an existing use as a place of worship and community over the last 60 years which gives the correct local council zoning to operate and spread Sahaja Yoga.

The Trust and some members of the Adelaide and national collective have worked extremely hard to formally bid for several collective properties in Adelaide over the years. Each bid involves a lot of time, effort and very considerable financial cost.
The time has come where with your support we can move together beyond bidding and desiring and look to secure Shri Mataji’s home in Adelaide. Together we can make this dream come true.
Requesting donations & pledges
Adelaide is a small collective and needs a collective centre to grow. We once again ask for pledges or donations to assist in a collective property purchase. With current saved money and our ability to raise a loan through our own monthly donations and small interest loans from yogis, we are still about $260,000 short of the $795,000+ asking price of the property. It’s going to auction so may need close to $360,000 to be very confident of a successful bid. As a small collective, it’s beyond our reach and it can only be purchased through the generosity of the Yogis throughout Australia. Apart from lump sums, a monthly donation could also be pledged to allow us to repay the loan.

Contacting Yogis who made pledges
Over the next day or so, some Yogis in support of the Adelaide Ashram Project may also be contacting those Yogis who made pledges in the past to firm up the level of financial support. This will be used in the decision-making process, to see if we can afford to place a firm bid to purchase the property.
