Our New State Councillors

Dear Family,

Jai Shri Mataji!

(Her Holiness Shri Mataji with Her Children in Burwood Ashram Sydney 1985)

New State Councillors

Having offered their names at Shri Mataji’s Holy Lotus Feet, it gives us great pleasure to announce our new State Councillors who will be joining the Australian Council from today 3rd November 2022:

  • Vasantha Beckerton (Qld)
  • Daniel Firth (NSW)
  • Sandeep Mane (NSW)
  • Abhijheet Naikare (NSW)
  • Paul Clarke (Vic)
  • Mark Williams (Vic)
  • Danuta Stansall (WA)

It is with much appreciation we thank these Yogis for accepting this important role to serve Shri Mataji and the Collective, for the advancement of Sahaja Yoga.

The independent vibrational selection processes were conducted at Hiawatha following Navaratri Puja (WA) and Diwali Puja (Qld, NSW, Vic). We thank the Victorian Collective for taking on this important responsibility.

Retiring State Councillors

Each State will arrange for a handover of duties before the current State Councillors step down. We take this opportunity to thank these wonderful Yogis for three and a half years of dedicated service to Mother and the Collective. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to:

  • Suhas Bhasale (Qld)
  • Eugena Brugh (NSW)
  • Leanne Huet (NSW)
  • Hauke Horn (NSW)
  • Mayank Kumar (Vic)
  • Reza Bostani (Vic)
  • Nic Buff (SA)
  • Florian Schulze (WA)

Roles

For Yogis interested to better understand the roles of Australian Councillors and Trustees, we co-authored a guide together in 2020 for the benefit of the Collective:

Warm wishes,
Brett and the National Councillors (Edwin, Andrew, Rob, Prasad, Emmanuel)
