We, the global sangha, are fortunate to have a strong contingent of realised souls attending the International Sahaja Public School (ISPS) in Dharamshala this year. From Australia, close to 30 children are attending, and there is strong representation from a number of other countries.

Invitation to apply

KITCHEN SUPERVISOR

ISPS invites applications from established Sahaja Yogis for the paid position of kitchen supervisor to start as soon as possible. It is preferable to have availability at least till 2023 end.

The kitchen supervisor oversees a staff of about 20 and is responsible for the day to day running of kitchen providing approximately 250 meals 3 times a day. The role of kitchen supervisor includes menu planning, overseeing meal preparation and kitchen hygiene and maintenance. He or she will also be responsible for and will support kitchen staff to perform their duties effectively. The kitchen supervisor will work closely with the purchasing department and leadership team.

Requirements for this position:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Conversational English and Hindi preferred

SCHOOL COUNSELLOR

ISPS invites applications for School Counsellor for the 2023 year with an immediate start.

We are looking for established Yogis and Yoginis from around the world who can commit to this 2023 position. In his or her role as Counsellor, the established Yogi or Yogini will work closely with the Leadership Team, Medical Team, Care Mentors, Vibrational Care Team, Teaching staff and Dorm Managers in the overall care and well-being of each child, and in creating a loving environment for their spiritual, physical and social development as Sahaja Yogis and Yoginis. The Counsellor will also be required to communicate with the parents for some matters when necessary.

Requirements for this position:

  • Registered Counsellor with knowledge of Child psychology.
  • Conversational English
  • Russian speaker an advantage
