Australian Sahaja Primary – Update & Request for Funding Pledges

Dear Family,

Jai Shri Mataji!

The Sahaja Yoga Australia Board of Life Eternal Education (LEE) has been tasked with establishing a government approved Australian Sahaj Primary School from Kindergarten to Grade 6 so that our children now, and in the future, can grow and be protected within a Sahaj environment.

Project offered to Shri Mataji

It was incredibly special for the LEE Board to offer the Project update to Her Holiness Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi and the collective gathered at the auspicious occasion of Easter Puja at Balmoral Ashram on 16th April 2022.

A nurturing Sahaj environment

The vibrations for this project have been undoubtedly strong. The initial concept started 2 years ago, with the vision of establishing a Sahaja Yoga School here in Australia, the land of Shri Ganesha, where our Holy Mother established the first Sahaja Yoga school in 1983 in Melbourne. The new school will be a place where our precious children can grow into strong Sahaja Yogis, in a nurturing Sahaj environment, surrounded by the love of their family and Mother.

The new school will preserve our children’s innocence, preparing them for their next step into Sahaja Yoga Senior Schools such as International Sahaja Public School (ISPS) in India and the Devi School in Canada.

It was extremely clear that the collective is fully supportive of the school and understands the importance of Shri Mataji’s vision for Her children. During the seminar, we received so much love, support, and valuable suggestions, and we are now studying all of your ideas that were offered.

Funding requests

We are now requesting funding support from all Sahaja Yogis – parents, grandparents, guardians, aunties, uncles and friends to allow the school project to blossom.

Below are details of two funding requests that will give you the opportunity to provide support through making a personal funding Pledge. A Pledge is a promise to provide money when it is needed. Anyone making a pledge will be contacted to convert their pledge into a monetary donation.

The two Pledges cover the following areas:

Pledge 1 – Funding for establishing the Australian Sahaj School.

  • Funding Target: $1M to $2.5M (Depending on the final purchase option chosen.)
  • When will funds be required? June to October 2022.

Pledge 2 – Funding for planning, investigation and compliance.

  • Funding Target: $50,000
  • When will funds be required? By end of May 2022 (once our LEE Bank Account is set-up, in a few weeks time.)

Our aim is to register a school and start at an affordable level and we need to understand the level of financial support that the collective can provide for this tremendous project.

Therefore, we are humbly asking the collective for pledges which will be called upon when needed, including for ongoing donations for operational costs.

We are requesting your response no later than the 15th May 2022. Please fill out the form for the two different pledges using the link below.

Tax Deductible & Use of Funds

We are currently setting up our legal and tax structure, and while at this point we are unsure of the time frame, once this is completed, your donations toward the cost of establishing and maintaining the school buildings will be Tax Deductible.

We would like to reassure the collective that all donations to the project will be used only for the school project.

Thank you!
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to receiving your feedback and suggestions at any time.

Jai Shri Mataji

Lots of Love
