We wish to share with you some wonderful and miraculous news about our recent acquisition of several new .au Australian domain names, including meditation.au and meditate.au
First, some background
The Australian not-for-profit governing body (auDA) who licences and maintains the .au range of domain names recently released a new range of domains called “.au direct”. These domains do not use .com, .org or .net before the .au but instead, simply use the “domain name” plus “.au”.
So, for example, our collective owns sahajayoga.com.au, sahajayoga.org.au and sahajayoga.net.au. With “.au direct” we were able to secure sahajayoga.au
History of our domain acquisitions
Since 1999, our collective has been acquiring a portfolio of Australian, international and specific country domains, to ensure they are protected from being purchased and used by non-Sahaja individuals and organisations, and at the same time, reserving them for use by our progeny for future online projects. In some cases, people (cyber squatters) will buy domain names with the intention of selling them to the rightful owners at a huge markup.
Because we had purchased our .au domains a long time ago, and had the various extension ranges (such as .com, .org, .net etc), we were given priority to purchase their “.au direct” version during the auDA’s “Priority period”. After this period, the .au domains are made available to the general public to purchase, starting October 2022.

Below is the list of the new .au domains we were able acquire during September 2022 plus how they are being utilised until they are required for a new online project. Please note, these domains would have been made available to the public if we did not purchase them during the Priority period.
By Shri Mataji’s blessings and guidance during the priority acquisition process, we were able to also secure two new unique domains – meditation.au and meditate.au – Jai Shri Mataji!
