Sahaja Yoga Australia

National Diwali Puja recollection, October 2017

Dear Family,

Jai Shri Mataji!

A wonderful few days at the beautiful Hiawatha property in the green rolling hills of the Victorian countryside began with a very special night of music and dance – the little ones danced early and and delighted all – some other memorable entertainment highlights included a wonderful dance by the Melbourne Yoginis, Mozart from Gasper, a special Qawalli from the Melbourne Yuva Shakti and dancing to bhajans!

Saturday’s Havan by the Yuva Shakti intensified the vibrations and a magnificent Diwali backdrop symbolised the Victorian Collective Puja preparation perfectly as did the joyful dancing late into the early hours shared by many of the 180+ Yogis who attended!

We all vowed whole heartedly to Shri Adi Shakti Shri Mataji that we will purify ourselves so that we are free from ego and superego and free from ignorance and darkness. We promised to be the light of Sahaja Yoga and to spread that light of Sahaja Yoga with full determination, complete dedication and attention and with lion hearts.

Well later that night half a dozen neighbours arrived having heard the music – sat with us to learn all about Sahaja Yoga , got their realisation before the Puja Altar and joined us for prasad and dancing.

We enjoyed our brothers and sisters company so much and the beautiful countryside and departed with so much more in our hearts and souls than what we came with.

Heartfelt thanks to our Victorian Family for an unforgettable Diwali weekend! They worked seamlessly as a Collective and with such enjoyment, making the largest Diwali Puja Seminar an amazing experience for all.

When attention goes to Hiawatha and Diwali, that large pink lotus behind Shri Mataji’s Photo at the Altar features prominently. It was big, generous and friendly and reflected the whole weekend.

The generous rolling land of Hiawatha makes us quiet and gives a smile in the inside. A big thank you to Victoria!

Jai Shri Mahalakshmi Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi!!

Love,
Australian Councillors who attended the National Diwali Puja
