Sahaja Yoga Australia

Music vibrations sooth the seekers of Sydney from the Barangaroo Park public program.

Dear brothers and sisters

Jai Shri Mataji!

What a wonderful way to the start our International Easter Seminar!

Yogis gathered yesterday at Barangaroo Park to offer seekers their Self Realisation and to share and enjoy HH Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi’s divine gift of classical music with the public.

The musicians were Nic Buff (Saxophone), Bhargav Sridhar (Harmonium), Sahaj Williams (Sitar) and guest Tabla player Murtaza Damoon.

Please enjoy the day with us through these photos, video and comments from the yogis who were at Barangaroo Park.

From the Sahaja Yogis

“Who would believe we would be listening to beautiful Divine Ragas in the park. One could feel Mother’s love flowing as we were taken into Blissful meditation. Jai Shri Mataji”

“Fantastic location – began with a foot soak perched on the harbour sandstone rocks in the sunshine.  Giving Realisation to hundreds of passers-by on the grass overlooking the harbour bridge.  Culminated in a soothing and gentle classical music concert with Sitar – Raag Yaman, Tabla and Harmonium – Raag  Kirwani and Raag Nand on Saxophone.  Deep and peaceful meditation on the harbour.”

“This was probably the best location to let the Sahaj music flow and the weather complemented beautifully. Definitely, an annual feature if possible.”

“The lantern inside me glowed and time folded in on itself. Today, this traditional Aboriginal hunting and fishing ground became the destination for seekers of truth and others wishing to share their bounty.”

“It was a relaxed and comfortable outdoor atmosphere where curious people could listen and engage without feeling like they had to make a serious commitment.”

“Beautiful way of introducing Sahaja Yoga to the community by providing mainstream classical music freely to the public further strengthening the grass roots perspective. From Sahaja Yoga point of view, amazing day with constant stream of seekers receiving Self Realisation”

“Amazing combination of sun, surf and serenity mixed with sensational music supporting the cool breeze emanating from Sahastrara. A joyful afternoon to become one with Divine, through music, in Sydney’s most beautiful settings.”
