Message from our Sisters on the North Coasts of NSW : Our Holy River

Dear Yogis,

The Manning River (also known as Boolumbahtee) is currently flooding beyond all known records. We, the nine yoginis of the mid north coast, know this river to be our elder sister, Shri Vishnumaya.

This river has many special qualities. She has the only double delta in the southern hemisphere (the Nile is the only other river in the world with two ocean entrances). She is also home to the oldest freshwater turtle on Earth. Travelling for 261 kilometres from the mountain range of Gloucester down to Old Bar and Harrington, her many beautiful arms spread over a 8,125 km2 basin area.

She is making her presence known to all at the moment.

We ask all the Yogis to please meditate on this aspect of Shri Vishnumaya, this Holy River within, and ask for peace in ourselves, in the collective, and in the world.

Much love,

Your sisters from the Mid North Coast of NSW

Holy River

You are the Holy River
moving through the three worlds,
a living prayer upon the Earth.

You are the Holy River
daughter of the Mountain King,
through silent valleys, You bow to Him.

You are the Holy River
moving through our heart and soul,
our elder sister, sister of all.

In the early 1980s while in Sydney, Shri Mataji referred to the Parramatta River in Sydney as ” your Para Mata, the Absolute Mother.” I was there with everyone when Shri Mataji said this.

    How blessed we all are.
