Programs for New Seekers
A presentation and discussion was held at Shivaratri Puja, Balmoral on 2 March 2019 to see how we can collectively improve the way that we bring new seekers into Sahaja Yogis. This encompasses the whole process of:
- advertising for new seekers
- running weekly local programs for these seekers
- intermediate programs
- introducing them to the devotional aspects of Sahaja Yoga
The presentation was mainly focused on the first two points above. Many yogis running programs attended and provided great feedback based on their own experiences running programs.
If possible it would be great to create a moderated online forum which will allow all yogis to contribute their knowledge and experiences of the different aspects of reaching out to new seekers and establishing new yogis. Not everyone is an expert in each of these areas – we have a lot to learn from each other.
We are planning to have a follow-up during the Easter Puja 2019 weekend.
