Collective Balmoral Working Weekend & Collective weekly program

Collective Balmoral Working Weekend
&
Collective weekly program

This Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th February 2020

Dear Sahaj Family,

Jai Shri Mataji!

This is a reminder that we will have a collective working bee this coming weekend of Feb 8th and 9th and the collective weekly program on Feb 8th at 6.30 pm hosted by Daisy.

Catering

Jenny has kindly offered to organise catering for Saturday lunch as well as Sunday breakfast and lunch.

Please contact [email protected] if you can cater a meal. If everyone can please donate $5 for each meal that will be helpful. Please bring a plate of food for Saturday dinner as there will be no catering for that.

Working bee

We aim to start 9am on Saturday with a collective meditation.

Rain is predicted as the men will be mainly working out doors it is advised to bring a rain jacket, working gloves and shovels.

Shri Mataji’s rooms in the cottage have been re-painted and many of Her personal items will be returned from Burwood and the ladies will be setting up and decorating Her rooms.

The last two weeks a professional company has brought down any trees that were in danger of falling so the property is safe from this risk but please keep your children under your supervision as many of the fences are down.

By Shri Mataji’s grace, all of the main buildings were saved, but there is much cleaning work needed inside the Puja Hall and Shri Mataji’s cottage to remove the smell of smoke. Many of Shri Mataji’s personal items which were moved to Burwood for safe keeping will be returned to Balmoral. Shri Mataji’s cottage will be decorated once again. The Puja Hall will also need to be thoroughly cleaned.

As mentioned above, we have engaged a professional arborist, who is currently onsite to bring down any trees damaged by fire that pose a safety risk. One job for the weekend is to chop up the trees brought down into firewood, so if you have a chainsaw and are proficient please bring it along. There will also be a lot of landscaping work for the men to distribute the mulch that will be left on the property by the company bringing down the trees. If you have a box trailer, shovels and other gardening tools, gloves robust work clothes, please bring it down for the weekend.

Children’s safety

The property is safe to visit but please keep your children under your supervision at all times.

Much preparation needed for Shivaratri Puja at Balmoral

There is much preparation needed so we can host Shivaratri Puja in little over a week’s time. Shri Mataji has saved Her Balmoral property from calamity. It is now our turn to extend our collective efforts to clean and prepare Shri Mataji’s Temple for Puja.

Our brothers and sisters from the Dasiy group will be hosting the program at Balmoral this Saturday 8th February at 6:30PM.
