Shri Bhairavanath Puja 1989 – Bhairava and Left Side

“Today we have gathered here to do Puja to Bhairavanath. I think we have not understood the significance of Bhairavanath who runs up and down on the Ida Nadi. Ida Nadi is the nadi of Chandrama, is of the moon. So this is a channel for us to cool down. So the work of Bhairavanathji is to cool us down.”

Incarnations of Shri Bhairava

Shri Markandeya (lived 14,000 years ago) Ancient sage and composer of the Devi-Mahatmyam.

Shri Mahavira (599-27 BC) – ‘Great Warrior’,  (Lord of the superego) lived in Bihar, India and established the Jain religion. Like Shri Buddha (Lord of the ego), he gave up his kingdom and achieved enlightenment (God-realisation) after many years of meditation.

Sant Kabir (1398-1448 AD) – ‘Great saint’. Weaver, poet, Bhakti saint. Like Guru Nanak, Shirdi Sai Baba and Ramana Maharshi, Sant Kabir advocated a Sahaja – ‘simple,  natural’ path. His songs express an intense pure desire for union with Gods and are still popular today.

William Blake (1757-1827 AD) poet, painter, printer and prophet lived in London. In his prophetic books ‘Milton’ and ‘Jerusalem’ he foretold the coming of Shri Mataji and the establishment of the Divine Humanity through the power of the Divine Feminine.
