Celebrating Navaratri 2018 in Sydney

Celebrating Navaratri 2018 in Sydney
10th to 19th October, 2018

Dear Family,

Jai Shri Mataji!

This year, Navaratri begins with the Day of Silence on Wednesday 10th October and finishing with Victory Day on Friday 19th October.

As in previous years, we would like to purify the vibrations of Sydney, and beyond, by asking Yogis to hold Havans in their homes. Yogis are also able to host a Havan at Burwood Ashram, if they wish.

Host a Havan

If you would like to host a Havan, please contact [email protected] with the following information:

  • Name and RSVP contact
  • Time and date
  • Address
  • If dinner is provided

There will be no Havans held on the Day of Silence (Wed 9th October).

Havan Venues

For list of venues, please see the “Navaratri Sydney Celebrations 2018” tab.

Navaratri Puja Day will be on Saturday 13th October.

Visit Burwood during Navaratri

Burwood will also be open for both morning and evening offerings during Navaratri. Times will be provided closer to the date.

“Very nice to see you all so happy here. Today is the second day and is a very important day from the point of evolution. As you know that our second chakra is very important.”
“You should just enjoy yourself. Second chakra you must enjoy. That’s the best way to enjoy Sahaja Yoga. Where your Swadisthana is satisfied nothing can destroy you or disturb you.”
