Dear Family,

Jai Shri Mataji!

“Her Holiness Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi Balmoral Temple”

During the recent bushfire crisis, HH Shri Mataji’s Divine grace and protection was in place, saving our beloved Balmoral Temple and Centre from destruction. While our major buildings were saved, there was damage to the property with over 3.8 kms of boundary fencing destroyed, the destruction of underground electrical wiring, irrigation, sheds, tools, plant and equipment.

Awarding of grants

Since the bushfires, we have shared the further expression of HH Shri Mataji’s blessings through the awarding of grants from the Commonwealth Bank of $50,000 and from NSW Government of a further $50,000. Some of these funds have been used to purchase a new tractor to replace the one lost to the fire. A new rural shed kit when constructed will replace the infrastructure lost in the fire.

Starting the Balmoral Renewal Building Project

We can also share the good news that the insurance claim with our insurer has been settled and a financial sum of $362,000 has been awarded to Life Eternal Trust Australia to undertake a renewal project to repair the damage to the property. In order to re-insure the Balmoral property we must make good all the damage done to the property.

Adam Potts and Matthew Cooper have kindly agreed to take on the project management role and planning works have commenced for the Balmoral Renewal Building Project. The major projects are listed below which comprise the majority of the work. Yogis with an ABN number and appropriate licences are invited to come forward to seek opportunities to be involved with the projects below.

  • Replacing 3.8 km of damaged boundary and internal fencing on the property;
  • Replacing the damaged irrigation plumbing and sprinklers systems;
  • Construction of a new rural workshop, shed to house all our major machinery, plant and equipment;
  • Excavate, remove, replace damaged underground power supply to the buildings;
  • Construction of new brick and mortar entrance gates for the property;
  • Remove and replace damage water tanks, install a major new tank and construct a pump house;
  • Implement a new major landscaping design, remove the destroyed gardens;
  • Install a new hedge/tree link along Railway Pde and along the boundary fence.

Balmoral Renewal Project website

A Balmoral Renewal Project website has been created on this Sahaja Yogis site where we can share plans, post pictures, videos, with a Forum so we can share updates and invite feedback. Your comments can be left below. See here for other news.

Like to be involved?

If you would like to be involved in the project, please write to Matthew Cooper [email protected] and Adam Potts [email protected] around your areas of interest and possible contribution with the hope of starting as soon as possible

As the project is commencing, we are also making a call for Yogi volunteer assistance. If you can stay for a time at Balmoral and assist with the project, please reach out to Matthew and Adam.

If you can come for an extended time, or just a few days to help out, we have always found that Sahaja building projects work out best through the good will and the support of the Collective.
