Assistance for Indian Sahaja Yogis with respect to COVID

Jai Shri Mataji!

Dear Sahaj Family,

As you may be aware, our Sahaji brothers and sisters in India have been seriously impacted by the huge Covid wave currently affecting all of India. The situation in India is dire and many households including yogis have been directly affected.

We’ve been in touch with the Indian Collective to see what material support we may be able to offer to help the situation. Specifically, we’ve reached out to the Nirmal Prem Ashram in Delhi and the Prathisthan Centre in Maharastra.

Both the Nirmal Prem Ashram and the Prathisthan Centre have requested we send a financial donation to their respective Indian Trust accounts. The donations will be used to purchase medical equipment and other supplies needed to support yogis impacted by the pandemic.

Requesting financial support

If you would like to provide financial assistance to the above Indian collectives then we have the following arrangements in place to accept donations from the Australian collective.

ARRANGEMENTS FOR DONATIONS
Due to the regulations surrounding our Australian Sahaja Trust structures, Life Eternal Trust is unfortunately unable to transfer funds to overseas organisations. To do so would risk our status as a tax-exempt registered charity.

Thus, in order to support the Indian Collective, we need to transfer funds into a private Australian account and then onto the relevant Indian Trust accounts.

For this purpose, we will utilise the same private account that we used for the Meditate Australia Tour for similar reasons.

BANK DETAILS
Bank account details are as follows:

  • Account Name: R Berry and B Johnson
  • BSB: 062-692
  • Account Number: 3645 9549

The above account is controlled by myself and Rennie in Victoria.

If you would like to contribute to this initiative, please transfer your donation to the above account and then email me to confirm the amount transferred.

My email is: [email protected]

Please make your transfers over the weekend

As there is an urgent need to move quickly, please make your transfers over the weekend, so we can organise the onward transfers as soon as possible next week.

We appreciate this is an unusual arrangement and we normally prefer to go through more official channels in relation to financial matters.

However, due to the urgent need for help from the Indian Collective, it was felt we have to do what is necessary to move forward swiftly on this occasion.

Thanking you all for your understanding and feel free to email me at the above address with any queries.
