A New Sahaja School for Australia

We are overjoyed to share some truly miraculous news.
We have managed to purchase a former state school with 6 classrooms and enough room for around 30 children.

We thank Shri Mataji for this wonderful blessing in the 100th Anniversary year of Her great incarnation.
The school property is located in South Australia, a couple of hours drive from Adelaide, near the Murray River.

Mother’s Divine attention
The entire journey has been truly remarkable to witness. From the beginning to the end, it unfolded miraculously, spontaneously, and seamlessly, with Mother’s divine attention guiding each step. In just 14 days leading up to the tender’s closing date, what initially appeared impossible manifested into reality, and we were able to secure the property. It’s heartening to note that a dedicated group of parents and grandparents played a pivotal role, offering both their time and financial support, in purchasing this former government school property.
Nirmala Sarva Education Ltd
The school has been purchased through a newly formed Sahaja entity, Nirmala Sarva Education Ltd. This entity was formed for the purposes of acquiring the school under the auspices of and with the full support and approval of all members of the Australian Council for Sahaja Yoga. The officeholders include Daniel Firth, Mark Beaven, Jack Beaven, Kabir Sattarshetty, Rob Henshaw and Brett Johnson. We’ve also been working with help from Sunil, Reza and Aunty Sarah in the early stages.

Uncle Mark, Aunty Sarah, Uncle Phillip and Uncle Rob visited the site today following settlement and brought Shri Mataji’s photo.
Thanking the current and former Directors
We would like to thank the current and former Directors of Life Eternal Education Ltd for their efforts toward getting this school project off the ground, which have been very helpful in bringing us to this point.
Ultimately though, it has worked out beautifully through Shri Mataji’s grace. The vibrations were very cool to go ahead with this property location. The Yogis who visited were very much taken by the natural silent beauty of the area, including the Murray River not far away. It was also a very affordable purchase compared to other states.
Shri Mataji was extremely unhappy when the first Sahaja school in Australia was closed, and we are delighted to once again have the opportunity to provide a Sahaja sanctuary for our young children’s learning in the land of Shri Ganesha.

We would also like to say a special thank you to the Yogis who donated the funds to make this purchase possible, we will be forever grateful for your amazing generosity.
Operating in 2025
There is still much work to be done in relation to property permissions and construction work but as the location is a former government school and there are no major fire/flood risks in the area, we are very optimistic of being able to bring the school to fruition. Hopefully to open for Term 1 in 2025.
At the same time, we’ll begin work on registering the school with the state government and making preparations for the school to begin operating in 2025.
Seeking the Collectives support
We’ll keep everyone updated on a regular basis and will be seeking the Collectives support to help bring the school to life through participation in various working groups and also through fundraising. We’ll come back to you soon on these items.
Australia Day 2024 Puja
We will be holding a Collective Puja at the property on the upcoming Australia Day long weekend in January 2024. More details to follow soon. Please mark the date in your calendar if you have a desire to attend.
